About me, Chris McIver
My greatest passion and sense of fulfillment comes from being given the opportunity to design and build a customized outdoor living space for my clients.
I started building decks in 2006. The expansion of outdoor living was in its early stages. I began building strong, sturdy, dependable structures, with a simple clean finish. As the industry expanded, so did my style. Throughout the years more and more building products became available and the world of decking and fasteners evolved. Decks were becoming maintenance free, being built from composites and hardwoods. Now decking can be made from stone, and much more. I have developed and built a skill set that allows me to combine multiple materials to provide a highly finished product.
I am a journeyman welder by trade. I have also recently finished my GFRC concrete counter top training at the Concrete Counter top Institute in North Carolina. Being able to combine concrete within my outdoor living projects is a new exciting aspect of my business and design.

On site Consultation
The first step in your outdoor living project is to have a meeting. We will go over designs, layouts and work on establishing an accurate budget for your build.
Each project is unique with different designs, budgets, landscapes, features and elements to consider. Lets set up a meeting to make your dream a reality.
Design, Budgeting, Material Selection
Before piles can be driven or holes augured, a design has to be finalized, materials chosen, and the site plan laid out.
Whether you choose pressure treated, hardwood, trex, stone or other composite decking products, making a decision on the combination of materials you choose can be guided by my experience. Whether your outdoor project is large or small, I will ensure we optimize the available space, providing both style and function. To help you visualize your project, I offer computer automated design services.
Pergolas & Gazebos
Being able to enjoy the outdoors in comfort sometimes means we have to get out of the sun or rain. A pergola or gazebo might just be a feature to consider for your outdoor space. Getting away from the bugs or wind might be an attractive option too!

Porches, decks and patios can be used to give grandness to your home, add elegance to your front entrance or be a functional area to enjoy outdoor cooking and leisure.
